Daily Tip Cruise Control in the Rain?

Many people are not aware of this simple and effective tip.
You do not want to use cruise control in the rain.
Why?
The tires cannot grip properly, the engine reesponds by constantly accellerating. This negates the typical fuel economy savings of cruise control.
